Certificates Issue on mobile browsers
Some external browsers you can install onto your phone do not allow the user to choose whether or not they can bypass the certificates check (as the registration website has a cert problem).
Is it acceptable to use the stock browsers or is there a way we can get the certs updated?

As an add on, navigating to the Data Custodian in a webview does not seem to allow any click events to happen.

For your first issue, you may use the datacustodian linked to at https://greenbutton.powerinform.com which has proper ssl certificates which don't need to have an exception set.
For your second issue, I don't know much about android but does this help? http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/View.html#attr_android:clickable
